#1 The final Champions League spot

There was a stage not so long ago, when Chelsea were 10 points behind Tottenham. However, 4 straight victories including one against Liverpool, coupled with Spurs dropping points gave them a ray of hope for Champions League qualification next season.
However, they could only manage a draw against Huddersfield midweek and Liverpool are now well and truly in the driving seat to clinch the place.
The final day will see Liverpool play host to Brighton while Chelsea will travel to Newcastle- a place that they are not entirely fond of.
Also, Salah will have his eyes firmly set on the back of the net and if he manages to score tomorrow, he will set a new record for the most goals in a 38-game Premier League season.
Given their huge goal difference, Liverpool need only a point from their match to finish in the top 4 while Chelsea not only need to win their game at St. James' park but also hope that Brighton defeat Liverpool.
Tough odds. But it's football, isn't it? We have seen maths and probability go out of the equation so often.
