3 young talents of Real Madrid who could make it big
Real Madrid have been trying to sign world class youngsters with huge potential

A decade ago, Real Madrid were known for making crazy transfers by breaking the world record fee multiple times to bring in 'Galacticos'. In recent times, it seems the club hierarchy have shifted their attention to much younger world class talents.

In the last couple of seasons, Real Madrid have been trying to sign world class youngsters with huge potential, instead of going after star players. They are linked with yet another South American prospect, Exequiel Palacios, who they will look to sign in the upcoming transfer window.

The Real Madrid batch which made history under Zinedine Zidane included the likes of Marcelo, Luka Modric, Sergio Ramos, Keylor Navas, and other senior players. They are not getting any younger, and the club will look to prepare for their eventual transition.

Recent departures of Cristiano Ronaldo and coach Zidane dealt a huge blow to the club, and their recent huge loss against rivals, Barcelona, points out the gap in quality. Real Madrid would like to avoid another disaster in future.

Without further ado, lets look at a few young talents who could make it big in coming years.

When we talk about talented youngsters who looks destined for glory, Vinicius Junior, is a name worth mentioning again and again. It is extremely hard to ignore a player with his potential, and he is already grabbing eyeballs at the Santiago Bernabeu.

The Brazilian wonderkid is a recent signing Real Madrid secured almost a season ago. He is already touted as the next player to lead Brazil's attack after Neymar Jr. in the near future.

Vinicius Jr. failed to get enough minutes under previous Real Madrid boss, Julen Lopetegui, but under new coach Santiago Solari, he seems comfortable with his increased time on the pitch.

Blessed with quick feet and an impressive skill set, Vinicius Jr. has managed to impress in the few minutes he has gotten so far. He was relentless on the left flank when he was brought on as a substitute against Real Valladolid, and forced an own goal. Not only did he help to break the deadlock, but he was trouble for the rival defenders.

With Vinicius Junior's ability and mentality, it is clear he is destined for great things.

Francisco Feuillassier, popularly known as Franchu, is the only Argentine in the ranks of Real Madrid. He is currently a starlet for the Real Madrid Castilla, and is named in Real Madrid's UEFA Champions League squad.

His progress with the Real Madrid youth sides led him to Real Madrid's Castilla. Although he was not a regular under then Castilla boss, Santiago Solari, he managed to impress with the limited number of minutes he got on the pitch.

Blessed with impeccable skill on both feet, his trickery and pace sets him apart. His attractive style of play and shooting ability makes him one of a kind. Considering his potential, he could dismantle any defence, and has been nicknamed; "Real Madrid's Messi" in some quarters, as they both share same nationality.

Fede Valverde is one of the hottest prospects on the Real Madrid roster at the moment. The unwillingness of the Real Madrid board when it comes to selling him speak volumes of their trust in the abilities of this youngster.

Despite being just 20 years old, Fede Valverde is already extremely mature. His game reading skill sets him apart on the pitch. He has already impressed with his national team Uruguay and with Real Madrid, showing what he is capable of on the biggest stages.

“I am a player who likes to always be in touch with the ball, and to always move forward” - Fede Valverde

What sets Fede Valverde apart from the rest is his versatility. He can play anywhere in midfield, and even at centre back if required, and he has scored goals at every level he has featured in. He is in full control with the ball at his feet, and likes to find pockets of spaces to help his team.

Very rarely do we witness a player this mature at this age, but Fede Valverde ticks all the boxes to be one of the future key figures at Real Madrid. With his performances, he has certainly made his case stronger, and there is no doubt that we will see more of him in the near future.
