Chong has been tipped to be United's next superstar. Having developed at Eredivisie side Feyenoord's youth academy, he earned praise aplenty for his individual displays. The Red Devils identified the youngster's potential before signing him on a free transfer in 2016.

Since then, he has quickly established himself as a fan favourite after a stunning solo strike in the FA Youth Cup.

Having overcome a serious long-term knee injury, Chong has recently made the step-up in quality to under-23s football and continued to sparkle. His strength, speed and rangy running style make him a delight to watch - while he possesses fantastic footballing instinct and makes opposition defences pay for lapses in concentration.

He's made appearances on the substitutes' bench for the first-team this term, most notably during their 1-0 home defeat by Juventus, but is yet to make his competitive debut. It's only a matter of time before the 18-year-old does feature, but there's no immediate rush and should he continue flourishing in the u23s, the process will only be accelerated.
