Joe Willock made his senior Arsenal debut in the 2017/18 season and since then he has been in and out of the first team having made a total of 17 appearances for Arsenal with most of them coming in the cup competitions. The English youngster is still only 19 but if his performances this season were anything to go by then it is evident that he is more than ready for the first team.
Willock is a central midfielder but likes to drift forward a lot and with Unai Emery looking to rebuild the Arsenal team, with players like Mesut Ozil, Granit Xhaka and Mohamed Elneny being linked with a move away from Arsenal, throwing Willock into the first team could be the right decision.
Emery definitely likes the player and with a limited transfer budget, Arsenal will have to rely a lot on their youth players next season and Willock certainly has the capabilities to have a serious impact on the first team.
