#2 Kylian Mbappe

France v Croatia - 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia Final
World Cup winner Mbappe

The teenager's name in this list could be questionable, but undoubtedly Mbappe is one of the best young players today. As a matter fact, he played a pivotal role in the recently concluded World Cup and helped France to lift the World Cup.

Mbappe scored in the World Cup final against Croatia and he became the second teenager after the legendary Pele to score in a World Cup final.

In addition, he scored a total of four goals in the tournament and won the 'Best Young Player' award. On the other hand, his short club career is quite impressive as well.

Mbappe became the second most expensive player in the world when Paris Saint-Germain signed the talented young player for €180 million.

He is a gifted forward player who can play in various positions. Mbappe is adept at playing as a right winger as well as a left winger. Additionally, he can also play as a center-forward.

He is known for his incredible pace and dribbling ability. Therefore, if Real Madrid can sign him, then he can be a good long-term replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo.

#1 Neymar

Brazil v Germany - Final: Men's Football - Olympics: Day 15
Neymar

Neymar is certainly the best choice to replace Cristiano Ronaldo. The 26-year-old forward is the most expensive player in the world and Real Madrid needs to pay a hefty amount if they want to sign him.

In fact, his gigantic price tag suggests that he is one of the best forwards of his generation alongside Messi and Ronaldo.

Meanwhile, the Brazilan star player is a magnificent goal scorer and he has netted 203 goals in his club career. Similarly, he has a good track record with his national team.

Neymar is already the third highest goal scorer for Brazil and he has scored 57 international goals for his country.

However, Neymar played for Real Madrid's arch-rival Barcelona, where he stayed four years. Hence, it will be interesting to see if Real Madrid will bid for Neymar in the future.
