No doubt it's his dead-eye instincts and clinical finishing abilities that has helped him score a bucket load of goals, but Real's stellar midfield has a major share in his exploits in front of the goal.

Ronaldo's current role at the club has limited him to being effective only in the box; he is no more the lethal poacher he was from outside the box. Also, his set-piece abilities have diminished as years have passed by. That is why he needs a quality set of midfielders to do the creative work so that he can keep scoring regularly.
