Liverpool have two world class wingers in Mohammed Salah and Sadio Mane, and a very able substitute to them in Xherdan Shaqiri. But the problem that lies underneath is, both Salah and Shaqiri are comfortable playing from the right, and they have only Sadio Mane who is very capable of playing on both the wings.

Also, due to the little tweak of position for Mohammed Salah, who has taken more of a central role this season, Liverpool might need an inclusion of personnel in that position. So, we can very well conclude that, with a Sadio Mane injury, Liverpool are short on the left flank.

Jurgen Klopp can very well dig into the market with a lot of youngsters in that position to look at. Christian Pulisic - who is heavily admired by Klopp, will be available come summer 2019.
