His impressive displays have led some to suggest that the 27-year-old has the ability to be as impactful as the five-time Ballon d'Or winners. However, he quickly refused to be compared with them, saying:

"First it is good to be compared with the greatest ever, but I am completely different," Hazard told reporters.
"We play in different leagues. I try and do my job, I try to reach that level, their level because they are the best in the world. Every season I try and do my best."
