Back in the mid-2000s, Baines was one of the most chased left backs in the Premier League, as offers from some of the biggest clubs including Manchester United filled his e-mail box in a flurry.
However, to everybody's surprise, the Englishmen opted for a stay at Everton and has continued to play for the Toffees since then, being a regular member of the team even at 33.
With over 410 appearances, the left-back is one of the most heavily experienced players in the League but has failed to win a major title with Everton and Wigan. With 3 runner-up spots, Baines continues to struggle at club level in terms of winning the major trophies.
