James McClean
McClean has been linked with a move to Stoke ever since Gary Rowett's appointment in May. Rowett had tried to sign McClean in January when he was the manager at Derby County but the Baggies were not willing to sell at that time.
Stoke and West Brom have been in negotiations since mid-June over the Irish winger. It is understood that Stoke had offered £4m initially, but Albion are after an amount closer to £6m.
James McClean arrived at West Brom three years ago from Wigan for just £1.5m, which makes the deal a positive for both sides: the Baggies earn a tidy profit and Stoke get their man.
The 29-year-old only started 14 times for the Baggies last season, scoring just once in 30 games.
