5 Key Players That Will Leave West Bromwich Albion This Summer

West Bromwich Albion v Leicester City - Premier League

Ahmed Hegazi

West Bromwich Albion v Southampton - The Emirates FA Cup Fifth Round

The 6'4 defender from Egypt was signed initially on loan at the Baggies in July 2017, before being signed permanently in December that same year, with a contract that runs until 2022.

Hegazi had an impressive debut campaign last season and featured in every Premier League game for the Baggies, amongst his 42 appearances in all competitions.

His performances caught the eye of Premier League clubs such as Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United, Everton and Leicester City. And with his release clause set at a meagre £10m, any side could potentially snap up the centre-back for a bargain price.

Hegazi, 27, is also wanted by Saudi Arabian side Al Ahli Jeddah, who were linked with the defender before West Brom signed him.
