#1 Gareth Bale to the Premier League?

Gareth Bale is one of the best players at Real Madrid in recent times – having won many titles with the club. Bale has suffered with a lack of playing time and injury over the years, but he is undeniably one of the great players of this generation. There was talk of Bale going to China, however the deal fell through due to some complications.

The injury of Marco Asensio has left a hole in the Real Madrid squad, which Bale could fill. However, Bale may be better suited with a transfer to another club – being only 30 years old. Gareth Bale could make a return to the Premier League, with even his former club Tottenham Hotspur being a good fit for the winger since the London club have started buying a number of players.

Will Bale move for big money, or will he make a straight-swap with another big player? Write your thoughts about where you think Bale could move to in the comment box below.

#2 Romelu Lukaku to Italy?

Romelu Lukaku

Romelu Lukaku is undoubtedly an incredible striker in modern football – strong, powerful on the ball and a great finisher. The former Everton striker however, has not been incredibly successful at Manchester United in his time so far, given his potential as a player and his consistent performances at his former club. Lukaku was one of the most promising young strikers, and he still has many years left in him to make a greater impact in the world of football.

Lukaku could move to Italy if Paulo Dybala moves the across the ocean in the opposite direction. While there is nothing set in stone yet, a straight-swap could be beneficial for both players, with Dybala moving away from Juventus and out from underneath the shadow of Cristiano Ronaldo – who is still somehow performing at his best.

#3 Harry Maguire to Manchester?

The Leicester City centre-back is one of the finest defenders in the world, having consistently performed on a high level for both Leicester City and the English national team. There has been considerable interest shown in Maguire from Manchester United, however it is up to Maguire at the end of the day to make his decision.

Maguire has expressed a bit of interest to leave Leicester in recent times, and a move could be good for the English defender to progress his career. Maguire was phenomenal at the FIFA World Cup for England and saw them all the way to the semi-final. He is strong on the ball and a great leader from the backline. The Leicester City man is rarely seen giving anything less than his all on the football field, and has had considerable experience playing in the highly competitiv Premier League.

#4 Wilfried Zaha to Merseyside?

The Crystal Palace winger is hot property at the moment and he has also expressed that he wants to leave the club. Interest from Arsenal was rejected by Crystal Palace, since the transfer fee was too low for Palace. Everton have also shown interest in Zaha with both money and players being offered in a prospective move.

Zaha may choose to push a transfer through, should a high price be paid to Crystal Palace to appease the club losing one of its best players. It is no doubt that the Ivory Coast international is a great attacker and that he adds immense value to his team. The forward is only 26 years old and has not yet reached his prime. Whether the winger makes a move to Everton is yet to be confirmed, but only time will tell. All we know is that Everton will be only too happy to add depth to their impressive current attack.

#5 Paul Pogba to look elsewhere?

Pogba is an essential part of the Manchester United squad, with the player having had to justify his massive price tag over the last few years with a string of successful performances. The player, however, has not had the best of times at United. Paul Pogba’s previous club Juventus have a phenomenal midfield at the moment, but could we see the Frenchman make a return to the Italian club?

Pogba – when he’s in form – is one of the best midfielders in the world. He is an integral part of any midfield setup, and he could even add value to the Real Madrid squad, should they lose Gareth Bale. It is rather unlikely that Pogba will make a move this window, but Manchester United’s poor Premier League performance in recent times and lack of silverware may be reason enough for Pogba to look elsewhere.
