This special goal came for Cristiano Ronaldo in the days when he played for Manchester United under the person whom he considers his footballing godfather - Sir Alex Ferguson. In those days he was still a golden boy.

This particular goal came in the 2009 edition of the UEFA Champions League against Porto. This goal made Cristiano Ronaldo the first-ever recipient of the Puskas Award. I won't say much about this goal. It was a long-range effort which ended up in the top left corner. See the goal with your own eyes and admire the beauty.

It was the first ever free-kick which was awarded the FIFA Puskas Award. The free kick might remind you of Roberto Carlos when you see it. It was an amazing free kick.

He kicked the ball with his instep and what made the goal so special was the technique he used. The ball dipped, swerved and curved into the goal. You'll know what is so special about the Free kick when you see it yourself.

Who else can it be?

The goal came during a friendly between Sweden and England. Sweden were first 2-0 down. But talk about "cometh the hour, cometh the man" the Swedish Captian Zlatan Ibrahimovic stepped up for his side and the captain inspired his team to make a brilliant comeback by scoring all 4 goals which mattered and the final score was 4-2.

The man showed his strength and ability and showed what advantage a black belt in Tae Kwon Do can offer. The goal came in injury time when his team were 3-2 up.

Clearance from a Swedish defender into the English box forced Joe Hart (the English keeper) to head the ball clear. As soon as Joe Hart headed the ball, Zlatan kicked it before the ball could even hit the ground.

He just connected with it, mid-air, to hit a spectacular bicycle kick and dazzled all the fans with an absolutely stunning goal. See the epic moment here.
