Barcelona and Real Madrid met for the second time this season when the Blaugrana welcomed their bitter rivals to the Camp Nou on 6th May.

The Catalans had already won the La Liga but they went all-out to defend their incredible unbeaten record in the league.

Los Blancos, on the other hand, sought to avenge the humiliation they suffered in the first leg and put an end to Barca's unbeaten streak.

At the Camp Nou, It took the Blaugrana just 10 minutes to take the lead. Sergi Roberto sent a perfect cross into the box for Luis Suarez and the Uruguayan finished perfectly with a fantastic volley to put his team ahead.

However, the lead lasted for just three minutes as Cristiano Ronaldo hit back from close range in the 14th minute.

The Portuguese was later substituted after getting a minor knock and Roberto got sent off for a foul on Marcelo.

Therefore, Barcelona entered into the second half with just 10 men. But, that was not enough to discourage them as Lionel Messi restored their lead in the 52nd minute.

The Argentine received a decent pass from Suarez, skipped past two Real Madrid players and sent a low shot into the net.

Gareth Bale got on the scoresheet twenty minutes later, beating Ter Stegen with a beautiful effort to secure a dramatic draw for the Los Blancos.

Following their decent start to the season, Manchester City finally closed in on the Premier League title.

The Cityzens needed just one victory to be crowned the champions of the division and they got the opportunity to do so against their City rivals, Manchester United. It is always a fantastic experience to win such a vital trophy in front of one's bitter enemies.

The match started with great intensity at the Etihad Stadium, with both teams fighting hard. At halftime, City looked destined to humiliate their opponents after Vincent Kompany and Ilkay Gundogan put them ahead.

However, Jose Mourinho had other plans. Paul Pogba produced a magical performance in the second half and dramatically changed the tempo of the game.

Ander Herrera chested down an Alexis Sanchez's cross which Pogba finished brilliantly. The Red Devils leveled the tie after just two minutes, with the French midfielder at the heart of the events again.

Pogba rose high and headed home a Sanchez cross to complete his brilliant brace in the game.

Manchester United took total control at the Etihad. Sanchez sent another brilliant cross into the box for Chris Smalling.

The defender slotted home from close range to shock Pep Guardiola's men and sealed a prestigious victory for the Red Devils. What a game!

Not every derby produced a classic encounter like the Rivier derby this season. Borussia Dortmund welcomed their city rivals, Schalke 04 to the Signal Iduna Park for their first Bundesliga meeting of the campaign.

The BVB, after claiming just one point from their last five games, entered this game fiercely as they sought to overcome their poor form.

Shortly after the kickoff, it looked like Peter Bosz's men were in for an easy ride. Pierre Emerick Aubameyang put the hosts ahead in just 12 minutes before an acrobatic own goal from Stambouli doubled their lead.

Further goals from Mario Gotze and Raphael Guerreiro ensured that the hosts took a perfect 4-0 lead into half-time.

The second half began with Schalke 04 coming out from a new dimension. Guido Burgstaller and Harit scored two goals within four minutes to bring their team back into the tie.

Dortmund started losing their confidence and things got worse for the hosts when Aubameyang was sent off in the 72nd minute after picking up two yellows.

This inspired the visitors and they attacked vigorously. Daniel Caligiuri struck in the 86th minute while Naldo finished the job with a fantastic header in the closing minute to conclude a fantastic derby at the Signal Iduna Park.

An incredible form since the start of the season allowed Manchester City to take an impressive unbeaten record to face Liverpool at the Anfield.

That was the second time the two clubs met in the Premier League this season. In their last meeting, The Cityzens convincingly beat Jurgen Klopp's men 5-0 at the Etihad, therefore many people expected them to repeat that feat in this fixture.

To everyone's surprise, the unimaginable happened. The Reds put an end to City's unbeaten streak in the division by claiming a vital 4-3 victory in one of the most interesting matches of the season.

It took Chamberlain just nine minutes to get on the scoresheet with a thunderous shot outside the box, but Leroy Sane's beautiful strike later in the first half leveled things up.

The Reds went ahead again in the 59th minute when Roberto Firmino shrugged off John Stones and chipped the ball over Ederson to put his name on the scoresheet.

Jurgen Klopp's men couldn't stop scoring. Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane scored one each in the second half to put their club in good position for a famous victory that night.

Manchester City fought back with great attitude. Bernado Silva and Ilkay Gundogan scored late goals in the game but that wasn't enough to stop the Citizens from falling to their first Premier League defeat of the season.
