#1 Liverpool 4-3 Manchester City (14/01/2018)

An incredible form since the start of the season allowed Manchester City to take an impressive unbeaten record to face Liverpool at the Anfield.
That was the second time the two clubs met in the Premier League this season. In their last meeting, The Cityzens convincingly beat Jurgen Klopp's men 5-0 at the Etihad, therefore many people expected them to repeat that feat in this fixture.
To everyone's surprise, the unimaginable happened. The Reds put an end to City's unbeaten streak in the division by claiming a vital 4-3 victory in one of the most interesting matches of the season.
It took Chamberlain just nine minutes to get on the scoresheet with a thunderous shot outside the box, but Leroy Sane's beautiful strike later in the first half leveled things up.
The Reds went ahead again in the 59th minute when Roberto Firmino shrugged off John Stones and chipped the ball over Ederson to put his name on the scoresheet.
Jurgen Klopp's men couldn't stop scoring. Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane scored one each in the second half to put their club in good position for a famous victory that night.
Manchester City fought back with great attitude. Bernado Silva and Ilkay Gundogan scored late goals in the game but that wasn't enough to stop the Citizens from falling to their first Premier League defeat of the season.
