The second Jamaican international on our list, Jason Euell played four games for England's U-21 side. The player spent most of his 17-season-long career in the Premier League, with almost 70% of his appearances coming for Wimbledon and Charlton Atheltic.

Though he was not a prolific goalscorer, he found the back of the net 55 times with four different teams. The player, who was adept at playing as a striker or midfielder, was only capped three times by the Reggae Boyz.

Euell is currently is now the U-21 manager of his former club Charlton Athletic and hopes to secure the role of the main team's coach in the coming days.

While Clint Dempsey misses out on the title of the top-scoring North American in the Premier League by quite some margin, he is the most well known American to have appeared for a club in the English top-flight.

He joined Fulham from New England Revolution in January 2007. He went on to make over 230 appearances for The Cottagers across all competitions and scored 60 goals.

After enjoying a fruitful spell with the club, he moved to London rivals Tottenham Hotspur in the summer of 2012. Though he returned to the MLS after only one season with Spurs, he did manage to take his Premier League goal tally to 57.

Manchester United legend Dwight Yorke is the distinguished North American top-scorer. He netted 122 goals in the Premier League across four different teams, with the bulk of his goals coming for Aston Villa and Manchester United.

Yorke's goal-scoring rate was impressive with the Red Devils as he managed a goal every two games in the Premier League for them. He was also part of their 1998-99 treble-winning team, scoring 29 goals across all competitions that season.

Yorke's 18 goals in the league helped him bag the Premier League Golden Boot and Player of the Season awards that term.

He was awarded the Chaconia Medal in 2006, alongside the entire Jamaica squad. The year marks the first and last time that the Soca Warriors qualified for the FIFA World Cup.
