#3 - Paul Sturrock (Games: 9)
Excelling at Plymouth, Southampton decided to appoint Paul Sturrock as their new manager in March 2004. They had just parted with Gordon Strachan but things didn't go as expected.
He managed 7 games that season and managed to keep the Saints in the Premier League. However, 2 games into the next season, he was sacked by Southampton due to player unrest.
Reports also suggested that the boardroom were dissatisfied with his management. Despite his poor run at Southampton, he got a job with in a month at Sheffield Wednesday – a club he managed for 13 months before getting sacked!
