Nani joined Manchester United in 2007 and won the Champions League in his first season with them. The mercurial winger, whose style of play was very similar to his compatriot and then club teammate Cristiano Ronaldo, was an absolute treat to watch on his day.

Nani was full of tricks and he was a nightmare to defend against. He could play down either wing and could whip in crosses just as well as he could cut inside and unleash a shot with either foot. Nani was a fan-favourite with his incredible tricks, rabonas, trivelas, long-rangers and his acrobatic celebrations.

The Portuguese international struggled with injuries in his later years at Manchester United. But when he was at his best, he was nearly uncontainable. Nani made 230 appearances for Manchester United over the course of eight seasons, scoring 41 goals and providing 73 assists.
