#3 Daniel Amartey

Ever since breaking his ankle, Daniel Amartey has never been the same. The Ghanian international arrived at Leicester City during the Foxes' Premier League-winning campaign. Despite breaking into the first team the following season, successive long term injuries deterred the midfielder's progress. A return of 64 appearances in four and a half seasons is not an ideal number for any player in a squad.

It's now been close to 20 months since the last time Amartey played for the Foxes. During this time, the Foxes have changed their playing style and coaching staff. With Rodgers choosing to pair Ndidi-Tielemans in the center, it's unlikely that Amartey will get another run in the team.

#2 Matty James

James is one of the longest-serving players in the Leicester squad.

Another Leicester City fan favorite who has struggled with long term injuries. Matty James is one of the longest-serving players in the Leicester City squad. Arriving at the King Power way back in 2012, the midfielder played a crucial role in getting the Foxes back into the Premier League.

But a devastating ACL injury during the 2014/15 season saw the former England U20 international missing out on the Premier League winners medal. Since his return, James has rarely featured for the Foxes. With three years left in his contract and the possibility of never breaking into the first-team, it is the right time to let go of the midfielder.

#1 Rachid Ghezzal

Ghezzal is currently on loan at Fiorentina.

It's okay to forget that the Algerian winger is still a player under contract at the King Power stadium. The winger signed a four-year deal after arriving from Monaco last season but has failed to impress during his spell.

The loan move to Fiorentina for Ghezzal this season, despite a shortage in attacking depth, suggests the Algerian's time is up at the King Power. With the Foxes looking to add more quality wingers to their side, Ghezzal is likely to betransferred to increase the funds and improve squad depth.
