Klopp would be looking to spend big this summer

Liverpool is having a dream season in 2017/18. They have booked a place in the final of UEFA Champions League against the mighty Real Madrid. No matter what is the outcome of the game, they have won all the hearts with their style of football.

A place in the Champions League final assures a hefty sum of reward for an English team because of the broadcasting pool split which is maximum for them. Therefore, the Anfield club would be posting higher revenue for the next quarter.

Moreover, the club would be inclined to entrust Jurgen Klopp with more funds to improve the squad and make the final tweaks needed in the defence and midfield to challenge for bigger things in 2018/19.

That said, here are the player who can join the Red army this summer.

The midfielder is expected to leave Germany this summer

Meyer is yet another youngster in Bundesliga who could be leaving their clubs for an elite one. The 22-year-old has shown some quality playing for Schalke and caught the attention of many big clubs.

The German is a sublime holder and passer of the ball, his game reading and ball interceptions skills are commendable.

He would be a free agent this summer. He can be deployed anywhere in the central midfield and a player to watch out for in the near future.

The player has made 28 appearances this season, so far and impressed with his maturity. He can be an ideal replacement to Emre Can at the club, whose future is in the air as he would be running down his contract at the club.

Liverpool has been linked with the player ahead of the summer. However, they would be facing much competition from other top clubs for the player's signatures.
