There will be no St Totteringham Day for Arsenal fans to celebrate this season. For the second consecutive season, Mauricio Pochettino's side is going to finish above Arsenal in the table standings. This is thanks to an amazing team effort.

The Argentine's side has developed significantly over the last few seasons and the club is attracting more world-class players to join them to win the highly coveted Premier League trophy. Although they have missed out on trophies this season, there has been remarkable progress in terms of the club's attacking force. As seen in this season, the team rarely struggles to score goals, unlike rivals like Chelsea and Arsenal.

The club's lethal attack has seen them overcome strong opponents such as Juventus and Real Madrid in the UEFA Champions League. Standing 4th in the Premier League standings, the Lilywhites look set to secure another season of Champions League football as they are 5 points above 5th-placed Chelsea.

#5 Son Heung-Min

If not for his crucial ball recoveries, Tottenham could have conceded many more goals. The defender has recovered the ball 238 times, made 158 clearances and intercepted 60 times in 35 Premier League appearances this season. That is the highest number for any Tottenham defender this season.

His leadership qualities mean that he is a commanding presence in the back line.

He is also a player who has the ability to dribble the ball well and tackle with precision. This allows Vertonghen to quickly regain possession for his team and stop attacks launched by opponents.

His presence in the defensive line has aided his team massively. Based on the statistics on 5th May 2018, his side has conceded only 32 goals this whole season.

#3 Dele Alli

At 22 years of age, Alli is extremely confident of his skills and style of play. He has played in 51 games in all competitions, scoring 14 and providing 14 assists in the process. The youngster has great vision and is able to make quite a number of key passes in each match to help his team-mates out.

Both Eriksen and him are the two most creative players in the North London squad. Fortunately for Alli, he seems to be able to stay injury free most of the time and that has given him the chance to gain lots of experience of playing on a weekly basis.

He is certainly one of the hottest football prospects in Europe and Tottenham could struggle to keep him in the near future.

#2 Christian Eriksen

Sharing the top spot with Dele Alli on Tottenham's assists chart, Eriksen is beyond any doubt the most creative player in the squad. In 44 appearances throughout all competitions, the Danish international has had a hand in 13 goals and scored 14 times.

The Spurs manager has lauded heaps of praises on his creative midfielder this season. Eriksen has often been the savior of the team, coming to the rescue whenever his team struggles to find the net.

Starting his senior career as an Ajax player, Eriksen joined the Premier League side in 2013. After consistent hard work over the few seasons, he has finally made it into PFA Team of the Year this season alongside Harry Kane and Jan Vertonghen.

If not for his creativity, it will be hard to imagine how Tottenham's midfield could have dominated so many games. He has been praised for his movement on the pitch as he gets into great positions to receive the ball and find the rest of his team-mates.

The set-piece specialist often scores directly from free-kicks and his corner kicks are delivered accurately to the heart of the penalty box for his team-mates to get the ball in.

Harry Kane was the Premier League Golden Boot winner in the previous two seasons, but is set to lose it to Mohamed Salah, this year.

Despite missing a couple of games due to ankle ligament injury, Kane has not stopped scoring. Playing 44 times for Tottenham, the prolific striker netted a total of 37 times and provided 5 assists. Out of the 68 goals, Tottenham has scored thus far, 27 of them come from Kane.

The English striker has established himself to be one of the most feared strikers around the world. He has taken on a huge role in his team's goals. Physically strong, Kane is able to take on defenders in one to one challenges. At the same time, he is also strong in the air and many teams have had difficulties keeping him quiet in the box.

Kane is certainly the pride of England and Tottenham and is becoming someone the club cannot let go of.
