In 1994, the former Arsenal striker scored two hat-tricks in two back to back games against Ipswich Town and Southampton respectively and by doing so he became the second player to score two consecutive hat-tricks in the Premier League history.

Known for his lightning speed and superb finishing skills, Ian Wright started his career at Greenwich Borough and after just one year at the club, he got transferred to Crystal Palace. He scored 90 league goals for the club in 225 games.

After spending 7 years with the Eagles, he moved to Arsenal in 1991 where he went on to become the club's top scorer in the Premier League, a record which Thierry Henry broke in 2005.

Ian Wright had scored 113 goals in the 213 Premier League games and was also included in the PFA Team of the Season on two different occasions.
