The two-time African Footballer of the Year, Didier Drogba has also featured on this list. He scored two successive hat-tricks against Wigan Athletic and West Brom Albion in 2010.

Didier Drogba started his professional career with the French club Le Mans in 1998 and transferred to Guingamp in January 2002. He scored 17 goals during his second season at the club and such a good goalscoring record got the attention of the French giants, Marseille and he finally moved to the club in 2003.

After winning the Ligue 1 Player of the Season award during his first season at Marseille, he moved to England when Chelsea signed him for the club's then recorded £24 million.

He went on to become Chelsea's legend and had spent 9 seasons in two different spells at the club scoring 104 league goals in 254 games.

Didier Drogba is the leading African goalscorer in the Premier League and was the Premier League top scorer for 2006-2007 and 2009-2010 seasons.
