The list of world class managers in the world who haven't been linked to the Arsenal job is very short, and Ancelotti isn't one of them.
Arsenal have been on the lookout for a top class successor to Arsene Wenger's job and the requirements aren't too complicated. A tactically astute manager with a habit of winning titles, both, domestically and on the big European stage. Ancelotti quite comfortably fits the bill.
Arsene Wenger's two year contract might turn out to be a roadblock, but a return to the English shores will surely light up Ancelotti's eyes.
