There is also a long list of players who failed in the PL and went to other parts of the world to find their form and come back in the Premier League as stronger players. Mohamed Salah, Kevin De Bruyne are some of the perfect examples of such players.

Even today. there are many players labeled as flops playing in the other leagues of the world and are capable of doing well in the Premier League.

on this note, here is a list of five such players who are ready to come back to the Premier League and do it better the second time around

#5 Simone Zaza

Ent
Simone Zaha failed to impress at West Ham United.

West Ham United brought in 13 players during the summer transfer window of 2016, and one of them was the Italian international, Zaza on loan from Juventus. But like most of their signings made in that window, he failed to impress.

He just played eight games for the club and failed to score in any of it. His loan got terminated mid-way through the season and he joined the La Liga side, Valencia on loan for the remainder of the season.

He impressed during his loan at the Mestalla and Els Taronges (The Oranges) decided to sign him on a permanent basis. He has repaid the club's faith in him and became one of their top scorers in the league with 12 goals this season.

Since a number of Premier League clubs will be in for signing a natural goal scorer in the summer, Zaza is an option worth considering.

#4 Memphis Depay

Everton FC v Olympique Lyon - UEFA Europa League
Depay has regained his old form at Lyon.

After winning the Eredivisie's Golden Boot in 2014-2015, Depay joined Manchester United in the hope of becoming one the best players in the world. However, he did the complete opposite and failed miserably at Manchester United.

He joined the Ligue 1 side, Lyon, as an escape and tried to start his career from a new beginning. He has been a revelation since joining the Les Gones (The Kids) and has regained his pre-Manchester United form.

He has been one of Lyon's best players this season and has scored ten goals along with six assists in Ligue 1 this season. He has scored a total of 15 goals in 45 games for Lyon till now and won Ligue 1's Goal of the Season award in 2017.

With him finding his best form yet again, he may get another chance to return to England and show what he is truly capable of.

#3 Luis Alberto

SS Lazio v AC Chievo Verona - Serie A
Luis Alberto is playing like a different player at Lazio.

One of the two former Liverpool players on this list, Alberto joined Liverpool from Barcelona B in the summer of 2013. He came to Anfield with a good reputation but failed to adjust to the physicality and pace of the English top flight.

He played only nine games for the Reds and joined the Spanish side, Malaga on-loan after a year. He did well during his loan spell in La Liga but didn't do enough to impress his coaches back at Anfield. He was sent on-loan to La Liga once again but, this time to Deportivo La Coruna.

Alberto permanently left Liverpool in 2016 and joined Serie A club, Lazio. He didn't get many chances to play during his first season at the club and managed to play only nine league games. However, things started to change for him during the next season and he started impressing fans with his performances.

He has scored seven goals and has provided 11 assists to his teammates in the league this season.

His impressive displays in Serie A caught the eye of Spanish national team manager Julen Lopetegui and he played his first international match against Costa Rica on 11 November 2017.

Alberto possesses enough skills to do well in the Premier League and the summer transfer window might see clubs bidding for him.

#2 Suso

AC Milan v Juventus FC - Serie A
Suso has found his feet at AC Milan.

Big things were expected from the Spanish youngster, Suso when Liverpool signed him from Cadiz CF's academy in 2010.

Clubs like Barcelona and Real Madrid were interested in him but he snubbed them all in order to sign for Liverpool.

However, Suso failed to live up to expectations and had made just 14 appearances for the club, with most of them coming as a substitute.

He joined Almeria on loan for the 2013-2014 season and finally left Liverpool permanently for AC Milan in the January transfer window of 2015.

He started his new journey at Milan slowly but as time has progressed, he has been improving his game and now is one of the most important players for the club.

He has played 66 Serie A games for AC Milan and has been on the score sheet on 13 different occasions. His brilliant performances for the club didn't go unnoticed and he got his first international call-up in 2017.

He has recently been linked with a move to re-join Liverpool. Also, Spurs tried to sign him in the January transfer window.

#1 Florian Thuvian

Thauvin has found his best form again
Thauvin has found his best form again

The French winger joined Newcastle from Marseille in the summer transfer window of 2015 but he failed to impress at St. James Park and had managed to play only 13 games for the club.

He spent just six months with the Magpies before heading back on-loan to his former club, Marseille. He found his lost form during on-loan at his former club and Marseille signed him permanently in 2017.

He has scored 33 goals in 80 league games during his second spell at the Stade Vélodrome (including loan period) and has won the UNFP Player of the Month award three times. His brilliant performances with his club caught the attention of the French coach Didier Deschamps and he got his first national call-up in 2017.

His vision, dribbling, and ability to score goals from distance will make him an interesting option for Premier League clubs looking to bolster their attacking line-ups in the summer.
