Eriksen will be looking to progress into the later stages of the tournament with Denmark

He may not be getting the attention that he deserves but Spurs' Eriksen is one of the best-attacking midfielders in the Premier League.

He joined Spurs from Ajax in 2013 and has been performing brilliantly since then. He was the Spurs Player of the Season for the 2013-14 and 2016-17 seasons. He also won the Danish Player of the Season on four different occasions and is the highest scoring Danish player in the EPL.

He is going to play his second World Cup this year and was the youngest player to play in the 2010 edition of the World Cup. He made two appearances that year but failed to score a goal.

Eriksen played a vital role during Denmark's qualification campaign and scored eight goals along the way. His hat-trick in the play-off round against the Republic of Ireland played a crucial part in their qualification.

Despite being just 26-year-old, he has played 77 games for his national team scoring 21 goals. He will be Denmark's star player at the World Cup and will be the main source of creativity. He needs to be in top form if Denmark wants to progress to the final stages of the World Cup.
