With the summer transfer window just a few months away, clubs have started to prepare their shortlists and will try to fill in the gaps in their squads.
There are many big clubs across Europe who have struggled to score sufficient amount of goals and will be looking for a striker in the summer.
Although big players are going to get all the media coverage and will swap clubs for big money, there are many young promising strikers who are doing well for their respective teams and are ready to move to the big clubs in the summer.
These players can do a decent job for any club and, if handled properly, can become the global superstars in the future.

#5 Cristian Pavon
One of the two Argentine players on this list, Christian Pavon is one of the biggest talents in the Primera Division and was linked with a move to Arsenal to replace Alexis Sanchez in the January transfer window.
Hard-working, technically sound and versatile, Christian Pavon has a lot more to his game than just goal-scoring powers. He has scored 16 goals in 59 league games for the Boca Juniors.
He has made his International debut again in 2017 in a friendly match against Russia and has impressed during that match.

The Racing Club striker, Lautaro Martinez is the latest on the list. He is regarded as one of the most promising strikers in the Primera Division.
Known for his speed, technique and finishing abilities, Martinez made his professional debut in 2015 but didn't get the breakthrough until the 2016-2017 season.
He impressed in that season and finished the season with nine goals in 23 games.
He started the 2017-2018 season even more strongly and has already scored 10 goals in 14 games. He also has four league assists to his name.
He received a call-up for Argentina's national team in March 2018 and has scored eight goals in 11 matches for Argentina U20.
#3 Kasper Dolberg
Regarded as the future of Dutch football, Kasper Dolberg is among the top young goalscorers in Europe.
Discovered by the same scout who discovered players like Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Christian Erikson, he joined Ajax in 2015 from the Danish Superliga side, Silkeborg IF.
He made his Eredivisie debut in 2016 and scored a brace on his first league start for the club. Dolberg continued his brilliant start for the rest of the season and finished his first season in the Eredivisie with 16 goals in 27 games.
This season, however, he suffered a foot injury which made him miss a large chunk of the season.
The Danish international has only managed to score four goals in 16 league games and is currently out with an injury.
Nevertheless, he is just 20 and a great future lies in front of him. A move to a bigger league and club can make him a superstar in the upcoming years.
#2 Maximiliano Gómez
Dubbed as the 'new Luis Suarez', the Uruguayan Maximiliano Gomez is one of the finds of the season in the La Liga.
He joined Celta de Vigo in the summer transfer window of 2017 and has been a revelation since then.
He has scored 14 goals in 28 La Liga games this season and has also provided three assists to his teammates.
Known for his strength and aerial abilities, the Celta Vigo striker has played two games for his national side and will be hoping for a place in the squad for the upcoming World Cup.
At 21, his best years at yet to come and he can be a signing for the future at big clubs. Tottenham Hotspur has been linked with him recently and they will be looking forward to approaching the player in the summer.
#1 Timo Werner (RB Leipzig)
One of most promising talents in Europe right now, Timo Werner is on the radar of many big European clubs.
He started his professional career with VfB Stuttgart and is the club's youngest debutant and goalscorer in the Bundesliga.
Werner stayed for three years in Mercedez-Benz Arena scoring 13 goals in 95 Bundesliga games.
In 2016, he transferred to the newly-promoted team RB-Leipzig for a then club-record transfer fee of €10 million.
Werner hit the ground instantly at his new club and finished as the club's top goalscorer in his debut season with 21 Bundesliga goals.
He continued his impressive form in the following season as well and has already scored 11 goals in the league and also has three Champions League goals to his name.
His form with the German National team is equally impressive. Werner has played 11 senior games for the Die Mannschaft and scored seven goals in them.
He played a vital role in Germany's FIFA Confederations Cup 2017 and finished the tournament as the top goal-scorer.
Clubs like Liverpool and Manchester United have been linked with the German recently and we can certainly see him on the move in the summer.
