#2 New signings

For the first six weeks of the summer transfer window, the North London club were as quiet in the transfer market as some politicians are when they are asked to comment on a morally complicated situation.
The fans were absolutely losing their wits at their club’s lack of activity in the market, but Spurs ended with a bang after they signed 5 players to round off their summer in the best way possible. They replaced Kyle Walker with a better right-back in Serge Aurier, bought two of the most talented defensive prospects – Davinson Sanchez and Juan Foyth, to further strengthen their already-best defence, and have finally signed the proper backup for Harry Kane in the form of Fernando Llorente.
Added to that, they have promoted highly talented Marcus Edwards to the first-team while also having Harry Winks knocking on the door for a while. These two might be academy players, but they also give the impression of new signings that are going to help the team this season.
