Arsenal may not have the budget to match the financial power of rival clubs.

Arsenal's squad is currently crying out for a massive clear-out. Players like Granit Xhaka, Per Mertesacker, Alex Iwobi to name a few, need to be shown the exit door as a part of clubs restructuring.

Arsenal need to make a lot of new signings in the upcoming transfer window and have to pay the inflated prices prevailing in the market. It remains to be seen if the London club has the financial prowess to do so.

Not to mention that the club would potentially be without European football next season. This means, Arsenal would be going through what Manchester United from 2014 went through - when Louis Van Gaal paid almost twice the sum for each player United signed.

Also, the wages to attract the top players to the club would be astronomical. Arsenal may or may not improve after such spending, but their books would definitely be left unbalanced.

Thus, any such revamp would have to be deferred over a period of at least two years so as to manage the finances.
