Sevilla v FC Barcelona - Copa del Rey Quarter Final
Even though he scored against Lyon in the Champions League on Wednesday night, the Brazilian has been going through a rough patch of late. Coutinho is averaging just 0.9 key passes and 1.5 dribbles per game in La Liga this season. He has just 5 assists from 40 games in all competitions so far. His form in the league is especially poor, as he has just 4 goals and 2 assists from 25 games. Going for a player who has been so poor this season makes no sense, and Manchester United would be wise to steer clear of this deal.
The Brazilian is proven in the Premier League and does have an advantage in this regard. However, Coutinho's lack of form and inability to assert his influence in a Barcelona side that lacks a player of his calibre is alarming, to say the least. As such, there is a degree of risk associated with this transfer that United do not need at the moment.

Inspired by Diego Maradona, Deepungsu played as an attacking midfielder for his local club at subdivision level in his initial years and scored an important goal or two. However, his all-time favorite footballer is Lionel Messi, and evidently, he feels Argentina's glory in 2022 is his favorite FIFA World Cup moment for fulfilling his long-standing dream. He is also an ardent East Bengal fan.
Deepungsu has been a Manchester United supporter since the year 2000. Unsurprisingly, his favorite manager is Sir Alex Ferguson and the Scotsman helped him get through some of the toughest days of his life. Like the fiery Scot, Deepungsu also leaves no stone unturned when it comes to accuracy in articles and only relies on credible sources.
Despite believing in Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland to create an iconic rivalry, Deepungsu reckons no one can match the longevity of Messi and Ronaldo. He spends his leisure time writing about life on his blog, reading books, and playing the guitar.
