#4. Most goals scored for Liverpool in a debut season
Salah netted 44 goals in all competitions for the Reds, including 10 in the Champions League. This is the highest number of goals in a debut season for the Merseyside club, comfortably beating the previous record of 33 goals set by Fernando Torres a decade before in the 2007-08 season.
This is an incredible record set by Salah for more than one reason: He extended the record with 11 goals, it shows just how potent the Egyptian forward was in front of goal, and he achieved this considering how much confusion and skepticism there was when he first arrived at Liverpool.
In addition, the record of 44 goals is the second highest amount in a single season in the club's history with only Ian Rush's tally of 47 being a greater haul set way back in 1983-84!
