5 replacements for Ronald Koeman at Everton

Sripad
Everton v Arsenal - Premier League
Bye Bye!

And it's time up at Everton for Ronald Koeman. The Dutch manager has been sacked by the club following a very bad start to the 2017/18 season.

Koeman joined from Southampton 16 months ago by forcing a move to the Merseyside. He had a good first season, but he has not been able to get the results this season despite spending a lot in the summer.

Here are 5 potential replacements for the Koeman:

#5 Chris Coleman

Russia v Wales - Group B: UEFA Euro 2016
Off to Goodison?

Chris Coleman might not have managed to take Wales to the World Cup 2018, but what he's done for them is something that will go down in the country's history! Taking Wales from 112th in the world to the Euro 2016 semi-finals in five years – not many can do that!

Despite the good work, Coleman is reportedly set to quit the job in the coming weeks. While Everton are hunting for a manager, they should take a chance and go for the Welshman.

He's got it all do work with a tight budget and get the best out of the players he's given. He would be the ideal replacement for Koeman at this point.

#4 Sam Allardyce

Sunderland v Everton - Premier League
One more time?

One of the best managers in the Premier League, Sam Allardyce is currently unemployed. He left Crystal Palace at the start of the summer but would jump on the chance to manage the Toffees.

Everton are currently 18th in the table and one man who has consistently saved clubs from relegation is Allardyce. He can easily be the one to get the club back to the top half of the table and with 29 matches to go, that will be a piece of cake for him.

But the tough part for the Toffees would be to convince the former West Ham United man to manage a Premier League club again.

#3 Alan Pardew

Crystal Palace v Newcastle United - Premier League
The man of the moment?

Should Sam Allardyce declines the offer, Everton should waste no time and go for Alan Pardew. The Englishman has it all to get the Toffees back to where they belong and would be the ideal one given their situation.

Pardew has so much experience in the Premier League has can manage the situation. He's got the nack to handle the players and also bring the best out of them.

He's currently unemployed and has been linked with Leicester City. If Everton don't act fast, he might just end up joining the Foxes and it'll be a huge loss for the Toffees.

#2 Thomas Tuchel

Juventus v Borussia Dortmund - Preseason Friendly
Thomas Tuchel

Everton have had just two managers from outside the United Kingdom in their history – Roberto Martinez and the one sacked right now, Ronald Koeman. Both showed a lot of promise but left the club in a bad state.

Tuchel has managed Borussia Dortmund could be the one to take Everton to the next level. He's got the pedigree to be successful in the Premier League and is someone the players would look up to.

Toffees have the players that can take them into the next round of the Europa League and also qualify for the competition next season. But they did not get the motivation from Koeman and that is something Tuchel can bring in.

#1 David Moyes

Getafe CF v Real Sociedad de Futbol - La Liga
Back to Goodison?

Wayne Rooney went to Manchester United and has now come back. Is it time for David Moyes to return too? If the betting odds are to go by, the former Real Sociedad manager is set for a return to the club!

He knows the club through and through and can be the one to take them back to the top half of the Premier League table. Nobody will feel the club at their heart like Moyes and it would be the best move for the club and the manager right now.

Moyes has a successful spell at the club and built the foundation for them. He can be the one to complete the whole cycle too but it's all on the board to show the courage to get him back!
