With the problems that are streaming through Arsenal Football Club right now, the fans would jump at the opportunity to go back and re-live some of the good times.
Despite having played just three games and winning the FA Cup final just over three months ago, Gunners fans are already desperate for this season to end. With a chaotic transfer window where they could end up making a profit and signing just two players, the fans are furious. To make matters worse, the lack of effort on Sunday against Liverpool was so clear, illustrating the writing is nearly on the wall for Arsene Wenger. Should he have left on a high last summer after winning the FA Cup in a shock victory against Chelsea? Probably.
Anyway, here are five moments Arsenal fans would love to re-live:
5) Aaron Ramsey’s FA Cup winner
Yes, it wasn’t a league title, but without a trophy for nine years, Aaron Ramsey’s cushioned half volley understandably sent Arsenal fans into a frenzy.
2-0 down after just eight minutes and a clearance off the line by Kieran Gibbs indicated that the footballing Gods were not allowing the Gunners to end their torturous trophy drought just yet. However, they fought back.
A wonderful Santi Cazorla free-kick made it 2-1 before Laurent Koscielny scrambled the ball home to make it 2-2 and sent the game into extra time.
Olivier Giroud hit the bar and other chances went begging, as it looked set to go to penalties, but Ramsey come up with the goods once again as he had done all season, and clinched the trophy for Arsenal.
The FA Cup has lost its worth over the years and has become much more meaningless, as Arsenal playing Wigan Athletic in the semi-final and Hull City in the final suggested. However, this FA Cup victory to Arsenal was far from meaningless, it meant the world to them.
4) Winning the league at Old Trafford

“It’s Freddy Ljungberg again, pushed out by Barthez, WILTORD”. The famous commentary by Martin Tyler coincided with pure elation from Arsenal fans across England, as they took a 1-0 lead at Old Trafford and a step closer to the Premier League title.
Even without Thierry Henry, Dennis Bergkamp, captain Tony Adams and Robert Pires, Arsenal were still able to beat United away from home. They only needed a draw to win the title, but they went one better and secured the victory. This was a time when Arsenal and United had a fierce rivalry and they were both the two top teams in England, something that looks unlikely to return any time soon.
To make things feel even better for the Gunners, they were about to clinch the title in the Champions’ backyard, a team who they had finished second to just a season beforehand. This was certainly a moment Arsenal would like to re-live, a time when Wenger had built a magnificent squad.
3) 1-0 win at the Bernabeu

In 2006 Arsenal were by no means having a good season, but their Champions League run was inspiring.
In front of 80,000 at the Bernabeu, Arsenal shocked Europe as they defeated the Galacticos Roberto Carlos, David Beckham, Zinedine Zidane and Iker Casillas were all part of Madrid’s line-up, but they could do nothing about Henry’s powerful run from deep just seconds into the second half.
He shrugged off Brazilian Ronaldo, before leaving both Guti and Sergio Ramos in his wake on the floor as he finished with his weak foot past Casillas.
Arsenal were being written off before the match even started and were even playing with both Emmanuel Eboue and Phillipe Senderos in defence. But, they achieved the unthinkable with a win at the Bernabeu, a game Arsenal fans will never forget.
Arsenal didn’t concede a single goal up until the final after the group stage, defensive performances in Europe they could only dream of having now. If only Arsenal fans could go back in time…
2) Winning the league at White Hart Lane

This achievement even ranks way above sealing the title at Old Trafford, as the Gunners won the Premier League at their arch rivals’ home ground.
In an earlier kick-off, Chelsea had lost to Newcastle, meaning Arsenal only needed a draw at White Hart Lane to win the title, something Tottenham’s players didn’t even know.
A blistering counter attack where Patrick Vieira’s outstretched leg turned the ball into the bottom corner gave Arsenal the lead after just three minutes. Then, 10 minutes before half time another fantastic Arsenal move made it two.
Spurs were to eventually come back and get a last minute equaliser. Henry later claimed they celebrated as though they had won the league, getting a draw against Arsenal.
However, what they didn’t realise was a draw wasn’t going to be enough to stop the Gunners celebrating the league title with the away fans at White Hart Lane, which they did. This was one of the greatest moments in Arsenal’s history.
With Tottenham having finished above Arsenal last season for the first time in 21 years, Gunners fans would have loved to go back to April 2004 when they won the league away at Spurs.
1) The invincibles' final game of the Premier League season

The best thing about the Arsenal side in 2004 was that they would never stop fighting. Despite going behind on occasions, they never looked like losing. The final game of the season epitomised how good they were, and how their fairy-tale was always going to come true.
Paul Dickov gave Leicester City a surprise lead at Highbury and they still led at half-time. However, the Gunners came out firing. Two minutes into the second half, Henry slotted a penalty the wrong side of goalkeeper Ian Walker after Ashley Cole was fouled and the result was only going one way from then onwards.
A moment of brilliance from Bergkamp unlocked Leicester’s defence and Vieira rounded Walker and passed into an empty net, confirming Arsenal would go a whole season without defeat.
It has been over 13 years since Arsenal last won a league title, 26 wins and 12 draws meant they were the first Premier League team to go a whole season unbeaten. This game at Highbury is one Arsenal fans would dream of re-living, a time that feels like forever ago.
