In 2006 Arsenal were by no means having a good season, but their Champions League run was inspiring.

In front of 80,000 at the Bernabeu, Arsenal shocked Europe as they defeated the Galacticos Roberto Carlos, David Beckham, Zinedine Zidane and Iker Casillas were all part of Madrid’s line-up, but they could do nothing about Henry’s powerful run from deep just seconds into the second half.

He shrugged off Brazilian Ronaldo, before leaving both Guti and Sergio Ramos in his wake on the floor as he finished with his weak foot past Casillas.

Arsenal were being written off before the match even started and were even playing with both Emmanuel Eboue and Phillipe Senderos in defence. But, they achieved the unthinkable with a win at the Bernabeu, a game Arsenal fans will never forget.
