5 strikers Real Madrid can target this summer

Real Madrid CF v Borussia Dortmund - UEFA Champions League
Madrid's form seems to have deserted them this season

#3 Radamel Falcao

Tottenham Hotspur FC v AS Monaco FC - UEFA Champions League
Falcao seems reborn since moving back to Monaco

Radamel Falcao was once one of Europe's most feared strikers before a horrific knee injury seemed to have ended his career. He could not play for Colombia at the 2014 World Cup and had looked down and out. But he regained his fitness and went on loan, first to Manchester United and then to Chelsea but his time in England did not bear much fruit.

Now back at Monaco, he seems to have found his feet and has started scoring for fun again, evoking memories of the fearsome striker he once was. He played a pivotal part in ousting Manchester City in the Champions League last season. This season too, he is third in the top-scorers list in Ligue 1 with 17 goals, only behind Cavani and Neymar.

Having played in Spain before, earning his reputation with Real's cross-town rivals, Atletico Madrid, he has the experience and we all know his goal-scoring capabilities. His stint at top clubs did not work out the way that he would have wanted to but he moved when he came back from injury and was not at his lethal best.

This time the situation is different. He definitely has it in him to deliver the goods for Madrid and he can further enhance his stature of being a world-class forward.
