The Portuguese shot-stopper had to wait to find some stability in his career despite being immensely talented. Jose Sa spent stints with Maritimo and Porto before joining Greek side Olympiacos. Jose Sa played for Olympiacos for two seasons and was a part of the team's core.

The Portuguese international joined Wolverhampton Wanderers on 15 July in 2021 for just €8 million. He penned a five-year deal with the club and adapted to the club's culture and the Premier League almost immediately.

Wolves are eighth in the table at the moment and Jose Sa has had a massive role to play in the club's current position. He was phenomenal against both Manchester United and Chelsea as Wolves managed to defeat the Red Devils (1-0) and draw with the Blues (0-0).

Jose Sa has cemented his place in the starting XI and is already revered within the club's ranks.

Manager Mikel Arteta and Arsenal were desperate to make up for their mistakes during the previous transfer window ahead of the new season. They had previously splashed money on players who were past their prime.

It all changed this term as the club decided to spend wisely on talented youngsters who are helping the club maintain their standards this year. One such successful incoming player is Takehiro Tomiyasu.

The Japan international has been an important part of Arsenal's back four and has been involved in a number of counter-attacking moves for the Gunners. Tomiyasu, alongside Ben White, seems to be a budding defensive duo for Arsenal on the right for years to come. His passing accuracy and creativity make him worth every penny.

Cristiano Ronaldo made a sensational return to the club that helped him make a name for himself in 2021. He made all the headlines right after Lionel Messi's shocking move to PSG.

Ronaldo was away from England for more than a decade after leaving Old Trafford in 2009. He enjoyed a successful stint with Real Madrid and then played for Juventus in the Serie A.

Even though Ronaldo's return to Old Trafford broke the internet, pundits and Manchester United fans doubted the player's ability because of his age.

However, the Portuguese international has lived up to his billing and is a key player for Manchester United on the pitch and in the dressing room. Ronaldo has eight goals to his name in 17 appearances this season.
