#2 Stevan Jovetic (AS Monaco)

It appeared to be an ideal deal - Jovetic would fit perfectly into Monaco's 4-4-2 system alongside Radamel Falcao.
And he did initially play alongside the Colombian before Monaco changed to a 4-2-3-1 with Falcao as the lone striker. The system suited them, and Jovetic was sidelined.
The Montenegro forward is undoubtedly a very talented player, but his spells at Manchester City, Inter and Sevilla after leaving Fiorentina didn't pan out so well, and its shaping up to be more of the same at Monaco.
There's next to no chance of him upstaging Falcao at this point - El Tigre is in an inspired run of form that has seen him score 15 goals in 16 appearances in Ligue 1.
There were reports back in November that Southampton were eyeing him up to bolster their attack, and they have had a fresh infusion of funds from the van Dijk business.
But there's been no chatter since then, and Jovetic is in serious danger of fading into obscurity. It might not be a bad time for him to take matters into his own hands.
