He might be a Manchester United player at the moment, but Jurgen Klopp will always have a special place in the heart of Armenian superstar Mkhitaryan. Mkhitaryan, who first started his professional career with Armenian club FC Prunyik as a 17-year-old truly came into the limelight due to his performances for Shakhtar Donetsk, whom he signed for in August of 2010.

The move proved to be the perfect stepping stone in the attacking midfielder’s career as he not only established himself as a feared player, he also secured a move to English heavyweights in the summer of 2016.
