The saying "it's meant to be" looks as though it may ring true once again with Liverpool's title challenge. The Reds, despite not being at their magnificent best, seem to be grinding out results and gaining 3 points.

In the last couple of games, Liverpool have been far from their best but still have come out on top in what have been two closely contested games against Brighton and Crystal Palace.

These are the sort of performances that title winners produce. Whilst, it's impossible to be at your best every week; teams that win the title ensure that when they're not at their best they are still winning games and gaining the all-important 3 points.

Klopp's men are replicating exactly this by just making sure they guarantee themselves that all important 3 points, rather than trying to make sure they're blowing teams off the park every week.

If this can be maintained, Liverpool look as though they will be crowned champions when the season comes to an end in May.
