Mo Salah's brace in this game against Palace were his 49th and 50th in the Premier League. The Egyptian scored 2 goals in his 13 games for Chelsea and has scored 48 league goals for Liverpool since he signed in the Summer of 2018.

Salah's 50th goal in the Premier League is a personal milestone in itself but is it the speed he has done it in that is an even bigger deal.

Salah's 50 goals have come in 72 games for Liverpool and Chelsea. This number of games to achieve this milestone in is the 4th quickest ever in the PL era. Only Ruud Van Nistelrooy, Alan Shearer and Andy Cole are the only players to reach this milestone in a quicker fashion. He shares 4th position with former Liverpool sharpshooter Fernando Torres who achieved the same milestone in identical fashion.

After the game against Palace, Salah responded after scoring his 50th Premier League goal in a post-match interview saying, "Great, great. I'm looking forward to getting the 50 with Liverpool but you know I also scored two goals with Chelsea, so I'm happy about that and I'm looking forward to the next games."

Salah also finds himself two goals clear as top goalscorer in the Premier League with 16 goals, as he looks to retain the golden boot he won, after his record-breaking season last year.

Another day and another milestone for the Egyptian King. The next few games could deliver another milestone as Salah heads towards 50 league goals for the Reds.
