In 2002 West Ham tried to sign the Ivorian frontman for around £200 thousand. This deal did not go through due to the sum offered being far too small. This could have led to West Ham winning the League with Drogba going on to win multiple Premier League titles.
The Ivorian is now running down his career in America with Phoenix Rising where he has scored 4 goals in 5 matches in 2018. He has also started his punditry career and he is keen to make it a full-time profession when he retires from football.
