Arthur moved from Gremio to Barcelona

The upcoming talent of Brazilian football was on display during the recently concluded International friendlies involving matches against the USA and El Salvador. Though the USA and El Salvador are not teams which one would expect to defeat Brazil, it was more from Brazil's point of view to try out these new youngsters against different teams.

Let's have a look at five of the upcoming talent from this Brazil squad:

1.Arthur Melo:

Arthur is a 22-year-old footballer who has plied his trade in the Brazilian league with Gremio for three seasons. His was instrumental in Gremio winning the Campeonato Gaucho in 2018 as well as winning the Copa Libertadores in 2017. This early success earned him a dream move to Barcelona where he will be playing with the likes of Philippe Coutinho and the great Lionel Messi.

He has already shown what he can provide to Barcelona in a span of a few matches. He can be a part of the starting eleven and be a complete box-to-box midfielder while also at the same time with his youth be a super substitute against tough oppositions in the upcoming UEFA Champions League. Messi has also remarked that out of all the youngsters he has seen, Arthur has impressed him the most.

2. Richarlison:

Richarlison is someone one would have not have thought as someone to be as influential for Everton as he has been this season since his arrival from Watford. Having initially given a break by Marco Silva as a Watford player, he was someone with a lot of potential. While his transfer to Everton did raise a few eyebrows, he has silenced his critics so far.

The fact that the Brazilian team boasts such players as Neymar, Coutinho and Roberto Firmino meant that he had to wait for his turn. But an injured Pedro gave him a chance to participate for the Selecao in the recently concluded friendlies and he has shown his worth scoring 2 sublime goals against El Salvador. If he continues to improve at Everton and Brazil, he can be a special player in the future for both.

3. Lucas Paqueta:

Lucas Paqueta currently plays for Flamengo in Brazil top division and as such his talents have not gone unnoticed. He plays at the right side of midfield three at Flamengo. He is a complete midfielder and can play a compendium of multiple roles. As a midfielder, he is responsible for making plays in transitioning the ball forwards to the wide wingers as well as the center forwards. This is in addition to the fact that his defensive contribution is also huge. He contributes towards winning aerial duels as well as in tackles and interceptions.

The ability to play at any part of the pitch, providing crucial assists to goal scorers as well as defensive capabilities make him a great potential. Scouts from England, France, and Spain are all looking to book a deal for him and once he gets his move to a top European club, it will be a treat for football fans. At 21 years old, he will only improve and he has a lot to offer at the topmost level of football.

4 Everton Soares:

He was influential in Gremio's Copa Libertadores win in 2017 and his recent run of form earned him a call to the Brazil national football team. Everton is a player who is capable of producing masterful finishes from in and around the penalty box. The Brazilian league is a tough competition and the Copa Libertadores features the best of South America, but he has shown that he is capable of breaking down tight defenses akin to previous Brazil stars. He will be a player to watch out for in the upcoming years.

Everton is a 22-year-old football, who has been a teammate of Arthur and currently plays for Gremio in the Brazilian league. He has scored 27 goals for Gremio in 118 appearances, according to transfermarkt.

5. Pedro:

Pedro is a 21-year-old footballer currently plying his trade for Fluminense and has already attracted interest from French club Bordeaux and Mexican side Monterrey.

He is predominantly a center-forward and has already scored 12 goals in 34 appearances for Fluminense. He became a regular during the Campeonato Carioca and his performances this season earned him a call-up to the national setup under Tite for the friendlies. Unfortunately, he had to withdraw due to injuries but he remains, nonetheless an exciting talent and a European switch to a top league will give him ample opportunities to prove his worth.
