All's well at the Bridge so far

Mauricio Sarri's first year at the Stamford Bridge is yet to witness a setback as Chelsea continue to roll on after an erratic season under Antonio Conte last term. With six wins from a possible eight, the Blues are currently second in the standings by virtue of only an inferior goal-difference as it is their best start to a season since the title-winning campaign of 2014/15.

All the premonitions of a year of transition under a new manager have long been banished. Chelsea are doing just fine. All the big players in the side are in great form, spearheaded by the peerless Eden Hazard, who currently leads the scoring charts in the division with 11 goals. Alvaro Morata's tremendous struggle was the only major concern, but with two goals in last as many games, even that seems to subside now.

Chelsea's fixture list has been admittedly kind, as the only challenging games - against Arsenal and Liverpool - were both at home while the next game against Manchester United too, looks to be in the bag given the contrasting fortunes of the sides and again, the home comforts.

So the Sarriball should keep rolling for another month at least until the visit to Wembley to face Spurs.
