MilanAC Milan football head coach Massimiliano Allegri’s woes were exacerbated when he was handed a one-match touchline ban.

The beleaguered tactician, whose side has lost three matches out of four played this season, was banned Monday for shouting insults at the referee during his side’s loss at Udinese. He will have to watch the Cagliari game Wednesday from the stands, reports Xinhua.

Milan will also be without Cristian Zapata and Kevin Prince Boateng as they were dismissed in the 1-2 loss at the Stadio Friuli.

Catania’s Pablo Alvarez and Pescara keeper Mattia Perin will also sit out the midweek round.

Meanwhile, Sampdoria’s Maxi Lopez will have to watch the next 180 minutes of action from his home given his actions during the 1- 1 draw with Torino.

The Argentine was reported to the disciplinary panel for kicking the referee’s door at the end of the game, while hurling insults at the officials at the same time.
