Valencia close in on Gabriel Paulista
The La Liga side had a woeful campaign last season as they finished 12th in the league. Keen on bolstering the squad, manager Marcelino Garcia Toral has been in search of players who can improve his squad.
Having observed Paulista closely during their time at Villarreal, the manager is reportedly keen on working with the Brazilian again, as reports from ESPN suggest that the player is on the verge of completing a £10 million move to Valencia.
Barcelona consider move for Angel Di Maria
After Neymar's blockbuster move to Paris Saint-Germain, Barcelona have been linked with a number of players touted to be potential replacements for the Brazilian sensation. Liverpool's Philippe Coutinho was pursued relentlessly, but to no avail, as Jurgen Klopp is defiant in his stance to keep his most prized asset.
According to reports in the Daily Express and The Sun, the Catalan club are now targeting PSG's Angel Di Maria. The 29-year old has been in healthy form and is believed to be perceived as a suitable replacement for Neymar. The French side are supposedly open to selling the player if an appropriate offer is submitted.
Real Madrid renew interest in David de Gea
The rollercoaster ride that this saga has become never seems to end. The La Liga champions have pursued the Manchester United goalkeeper for years now, having lost out on the Spaniard 2 seasons ago in a fax machine debacle.
The Los Blancos had publicly claimed that they had officially ended their interest in the shot-stopper for the summer. However, Marco Asensio's dizzyingly quick rise to the top has eliminated the need of an attacking galactico. Zinedine Zidane seems content with his squad and will look to procure de Gea, who many believe is the last missing piece of the Real Madrid puzzle
ESPN have reported that Real Madrid could indeed try and swoop in for the 26-year old before the ongoing transfer window ends.
