AFC President's Cup Qualifiers: MMC Nepal qualifies for final round

Nepal’s top division football league champion, Manang Marshyangdi Club (MMC) along with the Mongolian football league champion Erchim FC qualified for the final round of the AFC President’s Cup after the Erchim FC defeated Svarieng FC of Cambodia 3-1. MMC and Erchim FC’s entry into the final rounds of the AFC President’s Cup was confirmed after both teams beat Svarieng FC of Cambodia in their respective league match of the Group C of the qualifiers.

The group C consists of three teams with the top two sides making it to the final rounds of the AFC President’s Cup.Earlier, MMC had defeated Svarieng FC 6 – 3 in the inaugural match of the Group C qualifiers. Both MMC and Erchim FC have played one match each and the last group match to be played on Monday between MMC and Erchim FC will determine the group C winner.
