Americans and their knowledge of football (that’s right! Football! Not soccer!) is a widely discussed topic around the world and this video proves that a large number of Americans (even the football fans) know very little about the sport and the World Cup in general.
Baha Salamah posted this video on YouTube where he asks Americans on the street various questions on the World Cup. What’s shocking to see is that even two Real Madrid “fans” are clueless about football, even going so far as to suggest that their star player Gareth Bale is Italian and could do well at the World Cup, apart from denying the fact that Spain won the last edition.
While there are some US Men’s National Team (USMNT) fans out there who know their stuff, there are others who simply give them a bad name.
