Barcelona, Nov 15 (IANS) FC Barcelona's Andre Gomes, Ivan Rakitic and Jasper Cillesen on Tuesday joined their football club's training session amid the absence of many other internationals.
A large number of Barcelona stars have international commitments in the South America qualifiers for the 2018 World Cup or in European friendlies, reports Efe.
Barcelona head coach Luis Enrique is expected to be boosted by the return of defenders Gerard Pique and Jordi Alba, while the suspended Luis Suarez, as well as the injured Andres Iniesta, Jeremy Mathieu and Samuel Umtiti will be absent.
