Real Sociedad’s starlet attacking midfielder Antoine Griezmann revealed that he has been a Real Madrid fan since he was child.
“Since I was a child I’ve preferred Real Madrid, but it’s true that Barcelona plays great football. However, the most important thing is my club and fighting for European places,” Griezmann told Radio Montecarlo.
The attacker had admitted earlier in the season that premier league clubs Manchester United and Arsenal were tracking his progress, and when questioned about the transfer speculation by French radio station RMC, Griezmann joked: “Maybe I have a double that is pretending to be me!”
“No, I will be staying relaxed at my home here. I want to finish the season with my club. The rest…it is something to look at another time. I have not been contacted by any clubs,” he added.
The 22-year-old has been impressive this season with 12 goals in 22 starts powering his side to sixth in the league table.
