Argentina U20 will host Guatemala U20 at the Estadio Unico Madre de Ciudades for a matchday two fixture in Group A of the 2023 FIFA U20 World Cup on Tuesday.
The hosts kickstarted their tournament with a 2-1 comeback victory against Uzbekistan on Saturday. Backed by a capacity crowd, Argentina made a poor start when they went behind to Makhamadjonov's 23rd-minute strike. They leveled matters just four minutes later through Alejo Veliz, while Valentin Carboni made it 2-1 four minutes before the break.
Guatemala, meanwhile, fell to a 1-0 defeat against New Zealand in their opening game. Second half substitute Norman Garbett scored the match-winning goal with 10 minutes to go.
The defeat left them at the bottom of the group and they are yet to register their first points on the board. Argentina lead the way at the summit with three points to their name.
